Fidelis Dog: When Home-Cooked Meals Spark a Better Way to Feed Our Pets

Good business often begins with a simple question: “Why isn’t this better?”

For Fidelis Dog, that moment arrived in Christian’s kitchen — when his dog Pippa struggled with both dry and raw food, leaving him searching for something gentler, cleaner, and more honest.

From One Dog’s Struggle to a Purpose-Led Brand

Pippa’s digestive issues pushed Christian to look deeper. He even worked inside a dog-food factory to understand what really goes into meals labelled “natural.” What he saw didn’t sit right.

So he tried something different: he cooked Pippa’s meals himself — simple, real ingredients. And it worked.

That small shift grew into something bigger. In 2022, Christian and his colleague Reiner launched Fidelis Dog, built on the same home-cooked principles that helped Pippa thrive. Today, they create fresh, frozen and air-dried meals shaped by one idea: feed dogs like family.

You can explore their meals and approach directly through Fidelis Dog.

What They Do Well

  • Simple, transparent ingredients

  • Small-batch production

  • Meals inspired by home cooking

  • Options that fit real family routines

  • A brand built from care, not trends

Why This Matters

Better nutrition means healthier dogs — something supported by organisations like the RSPCA, which highlight diet as a key part of responsible pet care. Fidelis Dog reflects a growing shift toward purposeful, higher-quality choices for our pets.
